CESAR Montano is just concerned over the welfare of his son Diego Loyzaga.
In a column written by Dolly Anne Carvajal for the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the veteran entertainment scribe said Montano called her when the negative Instagram posts of Loyzaga made headlines in social media.
Carvajal, a close family friend and cofidante of the actor, said the latter was worried about his son.
"Even if my late dad never pampered me and didn’t buy me material gifts because we were poor, I am still thankful to him," Montano was quoted in the article.
He added: "I never lambasted him for the tough life we had. Our struggles made me learn the value of hard work."
Carvajal also wrote that Loyzaga did not understand where his father was coming from, resulting to conflict between the two.
To recall, Loyzaga alleged that Montano kicked him out of the house and threatened the young actor to be arrested if he will not stop using illegal drug.
Diego, son of Montano with actress Teresa Loyzaga, maintained that all the five drug tests he took, which was required by his father, appeared negative. (VoxPop Philippines)
