THE Davao City Government has instructed all department heads to update their respective page on the website of the city's official website for the benefit of the public.
City Planning and Development Office (CPDO) officer-in-charge Ivan Cortez said this has been the instruction of city administrator Zuleika Lopez to all departments under the City Government.
"We need to be updated especially that the focus right now is the Davao City, meaning all the other local government units (LGUs) are looking at Davao City as a model. Everybody is looking at us," Cortez said.
Cortez said the website, www.davaocity.gov.ph, should be informative from time-to-time. He added that the information in the website shall be reflective on what the City Government has been and is currently doing here.
"If the website is not updated the people might get disappointed and it might reflect on Davao City and to the people as well. Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio is also a tech savvy and she is also checking the website," he said.
Cortez said all the departments under the City Government are requested to present their respective accomplishments and downloadable forms, and other significant reports on the website, since every department has its own page in it.
