DEFENDING champion City High Tigers and Bulua National High School (NHS) will dispute the semifinals seat in secondary boys division of the 2nd Cagayan de Oro Inter-Public School Basketball Tournament at West City Central School covered courts on Saturday, August 19.
The Tigers are expected to go all the way in their quest for a second- straight inter-public school title this conference.
But, the Tigers could not take lightly the more improved Bulua NHS Clay Masters.
Both the Tigers and the Clay Masters topped their respective brackets in the modified class tournament.
Bulua NHS ruled group B, while City High led group D. Whoever loses will be relegated into the wild card phase.
In another secondary boys match, East Gusa NHS and Kauswagan NHS Knights will face against each other with the winner joining the fray in the wild card 2 match.
In the 15-under boys, Carmen NHS junior Thunders will face Indahag NHS junior Skyhawks.
In Saturday’s curtain raiser, PN Roa baby Valley Hoops and Pagatpat ES baby Spartans will go to each other’s throat at 1 p.m.
