KEVIN Durant scored his 20,000 point in a loss against the Los Angeles Clippers, 125-106.
Durant made his 20,000 career points when he crossed over Montrezl Harrel and took a jump-shot for his 25th point in the first half giving the Warriors a steady lead over the Clippers.
But the Clippers quickly recovered and was able to push through the second half as they were able to score 39 points in the third quarter. Clipper's star Lou Wlliams stole the spotlight for Durant when he dropped 50 points on the game.
Lou Williams made 8 three-pointers and made 16 shots of 27 field goals attempted.
Durant tried to get his team the lead back as he was also scoring from all cylinders totalling 40 points and was 6 of 7 from three-point territory, but was not able to do so.
Warriors lost their 9th game of the season as they were without Stephen Curry who was out due to an injury he sustained in practice and Klay Thompson who was labeled taking a "rest." (Frankl Glarino, USC AB Communications Intern/VoxPop Philippines)
