THREE suspects, including a policeman, were arrested in a drug bust at Kasalamantan Drive in the village of Kasanyangan, Zamboanga City on Wednesday night.
Chief Inspector Elmer Solon, Station Drug Enforcement Team (SEDT) of the Police Station 11, identified the arrested suspects Police Officer 1 Baser Mohammad, 36; Al Hafidz Omar, 29; and Harija Hayudini, 48.
Solon said Mohammad is a member of Zamboanga City Police Office's Personnel Holding and Accounting Unit.
Mohammad, who was still in police uniform, was caught with Hayudini, the owner of the house where they allegedly smoked crystal meth, locally known as shabu.
Solon said Omar was arrested after he tried to escape to inform his companions inside Hayudini's house.
The police recovered three sachets of shabu from Omar and nine sachets from Mohammad.
The suspects are now detained at the Police Station 11.
