A POLICE officer was wounded during an anti-drug operation in Sitio Lawis, Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City, at around 9 p.m. on Monday, August 7.
Based on the report of the Mambaling Police Station, the wounded officer from Cordova Police Station was brought to a private hospital in Cebu City after the incident.
A drug personality from Cordova town was reportedly sighted in the said area.
The operatives from the Cordova police informed the Mambaling police of their operation to arrest a possible drug peddler at 8:25 p.m.
As of 10:25 p.m., an operation to hunt down the subject is still ongoing. (JOB)
