DAVAO City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio announced a P2-million reward for the information and capture of the suspect or suspects in the night market blast in Roxas Avenue, Davao City, Friday night.

Duterte-Carpio said Monday that P1 million will be given to those who will provide information on the whereabouts of the suspects.

Another P1 million will be given to those who will bring the suspect to authorities, she said.

She added she wants the suspect or suspects to be brought to her alive to allow her and authorities to find out the reason behind the bloodshed.

"We want to know who are the other personalities involved and the reasons behind the attack and if there will be attacks in other parts of the country," she said.

Fourteen people have died while 70 were injured when an bomb, believed to be an improvised explosive device (IED), exploded on a busy and crowded night market.

Duterte-Carpio has also ordered the relief of Davao City Police Office Director Chief Michael John Dubria and Task Force Davao commander Colonel Henry Robinson.
