THE Davao City Regional Trial Court Branch 54 will hear the terrorism case against alleged bombers of the Roxas night market blast, which killed 15 and wounded 68 others last September 2, 2016.

Judge Melinda Alconcel Dayanghirang will hear the terrorism case after it will be re-raffled by the office of the clerk of court.

Two courts will now handle the cases, as Regional Trial Court 33 Judge Lope Callo earlier received the frustrated murder and murder charges against the 14 accused.

The accused who were indicted in a resolution were identified as Abubakar Zulkifli, TJ Tagadaya Macabalang, Wendel Facturan, Musali Mustapha, Datu MaslaSema, Abu Hadid Dilangalen, Jessy Vincent Original, Zack Haron Lopez, Pendatum Coy Mahurom, one alias Cocoy, Abu Calid, Abu Solaiman, Jackson Usi, and Ausa Mamasapano.

The case was recommended before the court by the Davao City Prosecutor’s Office in a resolution dated December 12.

The 16-page resolution acquitted four of the 22 who also faced criminal charges.
