THE Committee on Finance, Ways and Means of the City Council of Davao had the highest number of committee and public hearings from January to June this year.
According to the semi-annual performance report issued by the Council secretary, the committee held a total of 21 committee hearings to tackle 77 items.
Chairperson of the committee Davao City Councilor Danilo Dayanghirang conducted the highest number of committee hearings in June.
Meanwhile, Davao City Councilor Jesus Melchor Quitain Jr., the Committee chairperson of Ethics and Good Governance, was second with 15 committee hearings for 46 items followed by Councilor Bernard Al-ag with 12 committee hearings covering 38 items.
Committee on Women Children and Family Relations chairperson Avegayle Dalodo-Ortiz placed fourth as she conducted 10 committee hearings to discuss 32 items.
