CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga --- A drug suspect was killed and two others were arrested in separate anti-illegal drug operations in Bulacan on Saturday, October 22.
Senior Superintendent Romeo Caramat, Bulacan police provincial director, said Ted Oafalias, a resident of Duhat, Bocaue town, was killed during an exchange of gunfire with police operatives.
The suspect sustained gunshot wounds in the body and died on the spot, said Caramat.
Recovered from the suspect were six sachets of shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride), marked money worth P4,500, and a caliber .38 revolver with bullets and spent shells.
Marilao police arrested two drug suspects in an operation in Barangay Abangan Norte.
Nabbed were Romerick Baviera and Frederick "Duds" Doolitte, both of residents of the said barangay, said Caramat.
Confiscated from them were three sachets of shabu. (Ric Sapnu)
