NEWLY-CROWNED Private School Athletic Association champion
Emar Human and Environmental College Red Stags and Davao Association of Private School and Administration runner-up Davao Jones Academy will collide at 3 p.m. when the Gaisano Grand Cup Season 15 "Game of the Rising Stars" opens at Gaisano Grand Citimall Skygym.
GG Cup director Rael Diaz said the opening ceremony of the longest-running youth cagefest in Mindanao will jumpstart with a motorcade at 10 a.m. followed by a team captain's photo shoot.
Diaz added that the opening ceremony will start at 1 p.m. to be highlighted by a GG Cup Sports Ambassadress 2017 muse contest.
Diaz also invited some cadet teams from Bukidnon City who will give the spectators an exhibition game.
A total of 41 teams will compete in mini, cadets, junior one, junior two and junior girls divisions.
The collegiate division will start in January next year. (ABM)
