SINCE its launch in February, around 35 percent of the 22-storey Enclaves Tower, homegrown property developer Escandor Development Corp. (Esdevco)'s high-rise expansion project, has already been sold.
"We have greatly carried on our momentum that we had last year because from February to date, for the first building, out of the 300 units we offered for sale, we have more or less sold 35 percent despite the competition," said Gerald Kent Garces, Matina Enclaves project director, in an interview with VoxPop Davao on Friday, March 24.
He said units bought were a mix of one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom units. The high-rise project does not offer studio units.
"Clients are mostly end-users probably because, as compared to the others, we are pretty much configured to accomodate families who would really be residing in the units and not really intending it to be rented out," Garces said.
He said potential investors and buyers are not only coming from Davao City but they also have buyers from General Santos City and also as far as Surigao City and the Visayas.
The high-rise Enclaves Towers project will be composed of four buildings. The first building will start construction by the first quarter of 2018 but the land development, which will be the construction of the road network and the entrance, will start mid or third quarter this year. Target turnover for the first building is 2020.
Garces, meanwhile, said the first building of the Matina Enclaves Residences is targeted to be turnover this May 2017.
The construction of the second building is currently ongoing and turnover is targeted to be by December of this year while the construction of the third building is targeted to start next month and turnover target is 2018.
The fourth and fifth buildings will start construction by the end of the year and turnover for both is targeted in 2019.
