A 73-YEAR-OLD farmer was found dead in a grassy ravine in Sitio Kamorarung, Barangay Manlapay, Dalaguete, Cebu around 7 a.m. Wednesday, June 14.
The victim, identified as Ricardo Amarado Amancio, was believed to be fatally wounded by two quarreling carabaos.
His relatives, Renaldo and Julius Amancio, found Ricardo with wounds in the left portion of his body and bruises in the right side of his face.
Ricardo was last seen riding on his carabao toward home on Tuesday afternoon, June 13.
Neighbors later saw that his carabao horn another carabao of his relative Antonio Amancio. Both carabaos suffered wounds.
Police, however, advised Ricardo's family to let his body undergo autopsy to determine if there was foul play involved behind his death. (VoxPop Cebu)
