ZAMBOANGA Representative Celso Lobregat (1st district) is sponsoring a free pay-per-view public viewing of the World Boxing Organization (WBO) Welterweight fight between Manny Pacquiao and Australian Jeff Horn on Sunday, July 2.
The live viewing of the Pacquiao-Horn fight will start at 9 a.m. at the Zamboanga City State Polytechnic College (ZCSPC) gymnasium in the village of Baliwasan.
Due to the limited capacity of the gym, a "first-come, first-served" policy will be implemented.
“I am inviting the Zamboangueños to watch and support our boxing legend Senator Manny Pacquiao as he takes down the ring Australian Jeff Horn on Sunday, it's free for everyone to enjoy the match,” Lobregat said.
The fight, dubbed “Battle of Brisbane”, will be at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Australia. (Bong Garcia)
