WILLIAM Galacio stole the limelight in the Datba Weekly Qualifying Bowling Tournament held at the NCCC Mall B3 Center Lanes over the weekend.
Galacio, Bank of the Philippine Island (BPI) branch manager, outscored his rivals after rolling down a total of 828 pins in a four-game series of the event organized by the Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association.
He pulled off a shock against Oslec Garcia and monthly finals qualifier Danny Usman, who placed second and third, respectively.
Garcia displayed a late game surge and totalled with 803 pin falls while Usman amassed 802 pin falls.
Galacio, meantime, received P1,000 while the next two winners pocketed P600 and P400.
