Gateway Motors Group partners with Nissan

GATEWAY Motors Group, the largest multi-brand car dealership in Cebu, has partnered with Nissan to bring to Cebu the newest Nissan dealership in the region.

Known for its brand promise of “Innovation that excites,” Nissan introduced to the local market the Nissan Retail Environment Design Initiative 2.1 (NREDI 2.1), its global retail design standard, with the opening of Nissan Cebu South yesterday.

The 3,000-square-meter showroom in Lawaan, Talisay City is the fourth in the country to adopt this new look, and is part of only a handful of NREDI dealerships in the world.

“When the customer walks in, we want him to feel welcome, to connect with the brand,” said Ramesh Narasimhan, president and managing director of Nissan Philippines Inc.

He further explained that the Philippines is an important market for Nissan as the brand has grown by 134 percent in the last two years.

“Dealers like Gateway Group have helped us grow, and our objective is to grow faster than the market,” he added.

Leading edge

The showroom’s stand-out features include a spacious interior layout, leading-edge styling and Nissan’s iconic Red Tablet, a signal to visitors of the vehicles and technologies on display inside.

The design was made with the customers in mind, to enhance their experience with the brand.

The vast space allows guests to roam freely and explore up to 10 vehicles on display.

The premium customer lounge, which is the heart of the NREDI 2.1 dealership experience, has seating options available for when guests want to engage with an adviser.

It is also carpeted, with cozy seats and a dropped timber ceiling with lights. Refreshments are available at the Refuel Bar, adding to the environment’s premium feel.

The consultation area with semi-private offices is designed for privacy of customer and adviser engagement, but also promotes brand transparency as the spaces are separated by glass walls.

The parts and accessories boutique comes equipped with moveable wall displays and gallery fixtures, which guests can browse and shop for while waiting for their vehicle at the service bay.

A rewarding experience awaits customers at the premier delivery area.

During the new vehicle delivery process, the car is unveiled with a red curtain and focal halo lighting. Mirrored glass doors enable the customer to see themselves with their new car. They can then proceed to the high bar to celebrate the moment.
