GERALD Anderson said he is thankful that he and his former girlfriend, Kim Chiu are back on good terms.

At the recent press conference of his latest movie "Can We Still Be Friends?" opposite Arci Munoz, the Kapamilya actor said he’s a living testament that anything is possible when time heals all wounds.

"Kaya kong sabihin genuinely na kaya ko makipagkaibigan sa ex ko. Sobrang blessing nga siya dahil nagkaroon ako ng chance para makasama ko ang ex ko," he said.

Anderson and Chiu reunited on the small screen via "Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin," their first project together in more than five years.

In a prior interview, the actor said he remained optimistic that Kimerald, will be back together on boob tube because they have so much history together.

He added that the fans deserved the teleserye.

“Imposibleng hindi kami magsasama ulit kasi nagsama kami sa reality show and 10 years na, andito parin kami. Thankful ako sa mga fans na andiyan parin. The show is our way of giving back," he said.

Anderson also shared at the press event that working with Chiu brought so much memory of them starting in the business, from their “Pinoy Big Brother” days to doing numerous TV and movie projects.

The Kapamilya star added that they were able to discuss the past without fear or hurt.

"Tinatanong ko siya tungkol sa buhay niya, Nagkukuwento ako sa kanya tungkol sa buhay ko. Every time na magkasama kami, nangangamustahan naman kami," he said.

As for his other ex-girlfriend, Maja Salvador, he only replied, “It takes time”.

Apart from Chiu and Anderson, the former was also able to patch things up with Salvador. (VoxPop Philippines)
