JAPS Sabio scored 14 points while DJ Dasas and Edsel Enal added identical 12 as the GJaps Pirates demolished the MCCC Transport Philippines (MTP), 95-80, in the resumption of the Scottie Thompson Basketball League held Sunday at the Elenita Heights basketball court in Catalunan Grande, Davao City.
The left-handed Sabio fired four triples in the first period to lead the charge for the Pirates who also relied on Dasas and Enal to secure their second straight win.
MTP's Janray Pombo and Ron Ferrer who made 16 and 15, respectively.
In other games, Mt. Mixed Enterprises (MME) escaped past El Grande Multi-Purpose Cooperative (EGMPC), 95-91, behind Ken Agamon and Dexter Spike Diao who combined for 53 points.
Eugene Labor paced EGMPC with 31 points.
Cuerpo Construction (BCC) defeated Tan Crusaders, 87-75, as slotman Yohann Fernandez sizzled with 32 and teammate Ceasar Divinagracia chipped in 18. Miggy Dela Cruz erupted with 33 points for the Crusaders.
