VICKI Belo and Hayden Kho are officially married.
The two tied the knot on Friday, June 23, in a civil wedding ceremony officiated by Makati Mayor Abby Binay.
Belo took to Instagram to express her delight on her special day.
"I was afraid that I would feel like I would lose my freedom by getting married. Instead I feel joyful and free," she wrote.
Kho, on his part, posted a kissing photo with his wife with the hashtag #OfficiallyOffTheMarket."
Last April, the couple announced that their church wedding will happen in September in Paris, France.
Their two-year-old daughter Scarlet Snow invited the closest family and friends of her parents to witness the upcoming event.
"This is Scarlet Snow Belo and I would like to invite you to be present when my parents, Daddy Hayden and Mommy Vicki, get married in our favorite city, Paris," the invitation read.
Kho and Belo have been together for 12 years now and have a 23-year age gap.
Belo, in a CNN Philippines interview last February, admitted that she never thought the relationship will last for years when she met Kho back in 2005.
"When we got together, in my mind, this is a short term because he's so much younger," she said.
The celebrity doctor said they decided to become life partners after all the controversies they've been through.
Aside from Scarlet Snow, Belo is also parent to grown up children Cristalle and Quark Henares, her kids with businessman ex-husband Atom Henares. (VoxPop Philippines)
