MABALACAT CITY --- An employee of a hotel in Cabanatuan City has returned a bag with P42,000 cash which he found inside a room on June 17.
Rommel Torres, employee of Sogo Hotel Cabanatuan, received commendations from his superiors for turning over to the hotel management the cash owned by a certain Antonio Vela.
Mhar De Jesus, head of Hotel Sogo Central Luzon area, said that Torres found the money at Room Number 308 at 9:00 a.m.
De Jesus lauded the hotel’s branch in Cabanatuan, headed by Jemini Miranda, for the return of the cash to the rightful owner.
“We want to assure our guests that our employees are honest and well-oriented. Our mission is to provide quality and affordable hotel accommodations to our patrons and customers. So clean, so good,” De Jesus said.
