WITH more than 30 years in the industry, Cebu Golden Restaurant Inc. has earned a reputation for being a pillar in Filipino dining with its restaurants Golden Cowrie and Hukad. With sumptuous and feast-worthy dishes they have become home to a number of celebrations.

Since it opened for franchising in 2009, Hukad and Golden Cowrie have collaborated with more than 10 partners to provide their signature comfort cuisine to key cities around the country. To bring the feast even closer to more homes, Hukad joined the Philippine Franchise Association’s (PFA) International Franchise Exhibit held last July 21 to 23 at the SMX Convention Center in Manila.

The International Franchise Exhibit is Asia’s biggest franchise expo, welcoming over 500 homegrown and international brands in various industries, and providing business matching opportunities to over 45,000 national and international visitors. At the event, Hukad’s booth evoked the homey ambience reminiscent of Sunday family feasts, sold lechon belly and attracted a lot of franchise leads.

“Our purpose of joining the expo is not only to look for a new franchisee, but also to establish our presence as a national brand and a credible franchisor,” said Kenneth Kokseng, general manager of Cebu Golden Restaurant Inc.

Celebrating Cebuano hospitality, value and flavor for over three decades, Golden Cowrie and Hukad continue to expand nationwide with a total of 36 other branches in Bacolod, Bacoor, Butuan City, Boracay, Cotabato, Davao, Digos, Dumaguete, General Santos City, Ilo-ilo, Pagadian, Ozamiz City, Tacloban, Tagum, Trinoma, SM Sucat and Zamboanga with a Golden Cowrie Filipino Kitchen at S Maison, MOA Complex. Hukad’s many franchise outlets include recently opened branches in SM Southmall, Bicutan, BF Parañaque, Iligan and Cagayan De Oro. (PR)
