A NEWBORN baby died after being bitten by a dog right after the mother prematurely gave birth in Barangay San Benito, Calatrava, Negros Occidental on Thursday, October 6.
Superintendent Gil Flores, chief of Calatrava Municipal Police Station, said, Carin Ugdiman, 20 years old, the baby’s mother, went to a bushy area about 30 meters away from their house when she suddenly slipped, felt pain, and eventually gave brith.
Ugdiman was only seven months pregnant.
Ugdiman fainted after giving birth. The baby’s gender was not immediately determined.
When she regained consciousness, she learned that her baby was bitten by a dog and died.(GYM)
