SOME go an extra mile just to get away from stress but it should never be the case as there is a place somewhere in the city where you can truly be free from it.
As the Jason Mraz song says, “You don’t need a vacation when there’s nothing to escape from”, indeed, you don’t have to go away just to get a breather, all it takes is just a single trip to the Lullaby Spa along Quirino Avenue.

The spa, which just had its soft opening last February 4, offers services that suit the preference of all sorts of customers including those who are not really into the “spa” thing like me. Availing their services made me have second thoughts and now, I am longing for more of their services.
The spa promised only one thing to their customers: VIP treatment for all, this is what Lullaby Spa operating manager Jhane Lepon said in an interview.
Lullaby Spa is named as such because they wanted to offer pampering services to customers that could lull them to sleep just like how a lullaby brings one into a relaxing state.
“Ang [mga] spa, pare-pareho [lang ang services na ino-offer kagaya ng] simpleng masahe…dito, we give unlimited coffee [and] iced tea. We pamper the customer – ito ang pinaka importante,” Lepon said.
According to Lepon, they had well-experienced therapists who once worked from different countries like Malaysia and Lebanon including one who was also a therapist who worked in Manila before.
Lepon said that all persons deserve a vacation from all types of stress that is why they are targeting customers from classes A, B, C, and D.
Among the services they offer are body massage with Ventosa, Volcanic Stone, sauna, body scrub, foot spa, paraffin, waxing, manicure and pedicure.
The idea of putting up a spa stemmed from an experience that Lepon had when she once visited a spa in Malaysia that also offered best customer services. When Lepon came back to the Philippines, she convinced her friend and now the Lullaby Spa’s training manager Jo Danila, who is in the Spa business in Davao City for six years already, to renovate her spa shop.
Danila said that instead of renovating her shop, they should partner in a new spa business. This then eventually led to the establishment of the Lullaby Spa. The two then partnered with their investor and friend Sheryl Ocharan for the business.
“[Dito sa] lullaby spa, gusto talaga namin na makilala kami ng mga clients and customers na unique,” Lepon shared.
Lepon stressed that they are not competing with other spa businesses in the city, all they desire is for their customers to have the kind of satisfaction that will definitely bring them back to the spa to avail more of their services.
