DECEMBER is Christmas party season and the time for most of us to celebrate it with friends, colleagues and officemates. It is the time to be merry, to share the love to everyone and all, and give thanks to everything that happened within the year.
The VoxPop Cagayan de Oro team did not just extend their hands for humanity to the kids in Boys’ Town Center, but, it has also prepared a red-themed party exclusive for employees and correspondents. It comes with small activities and games.
What built the excitement for this cheerful event among all were the Christmas gifting, Christmas raffle, and the Christmas presentation prepared by each department.
The program started at five p.m. The whole VoxPop Cagayan de Oro team was divided into five, namely Editorial, SuperVoxPop, Production, Marketing and Admin, and the team from the Circulation and interns.
Each team has practiced their song and dance presentations. The first to present was the production team who did a jolly Christmas dance. The second was the team from SuperVoxPop who sang a Visayan Christmas song. Third, was the Marketing and Admin team who did a lively Christmas dance. Fourth, was the team from circulation and interns who did a modern remix dance. The last to present was the Editorial group who sang a very melancholic Christmas song.
The entire group presented with their hearts out, but then, at least one of them would come out as the winner - since prizes were at stake.
Luckily, the production team got the first cash prize, followed by the Editorial, Marketing and Admin, SuperVoxPop, and the Circulation and interns team.
To add more cheer to the party, the organizer has also prepared parlor games played by team. Everyone enjoyed the games which drew out smiles and laughter to everyone. Whether there was a prize or not, everyone enjoyed the party - it's one great night to remember. Everyone also received each fair share of gifts, raffled items and prizes.
More than that, everyone was also enjoying the fine food, plenty drinks and a karaoke night for entertainment. It was truly one memorable party for all teams because everyone had a great time together. It is that time of the year again where companies have to focus on the blessings, give back the abundance given, appreciate special people, say thank you, and make everyone feel like they are a part of the company’s success.
The staff members were able to mingle in a comfortable environment in a party that has a sense of camaraderie, boost morale and build team spirit.
Truly, it was a handful of good laughs.
