AMID the paternity issue he is embroiled in, Jake Ejercito expressed his affection for Andi Eigenmann's five-year-old daughter, Ellie.
Ejercito, the son of ex-president and now Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada and former actress Laarni Enriquez, penned an open letter addressed to an older Ellie.
He hopes that the child will stumble upon the Instagram post when she's much older and find comfort in knowing that he will always be there for her.
"There will have been a lot of things you've heard and read by now and I'm glad you've somehow stumbled upon this. Cause this is one of the very few truths that matter," he wrote on Sunday evening, October 2.
Ejercito also hinted in the said post that he did not know Ellie was his until recently.
"It may have taken me years to find out by myself, but I've been here for you even before your first precious breath- nothing and no one has or will ever change that."
But he assures her that she only brought good things into his life and he promises to do the same for her.
"Know that everything has been and will always be for you. And that I will hold your hand the whole way through."
Ejercito added that he cannot wait for the day when Ellie starts asking questions and will seek for the truth.
"Although words will certainly fail to express how much I love you, our love story is filled with fun, optimism, and immeasurable bliss. It's a story of a million beautiful memories that no one can ever take away from us and I'd endlessly be proud to share it with you."
"As we always tell each other whenever we part ways or go to sleep, you will always be my princess and I, your first love. Stay real and stay bright, my love x."
The latest Instagram post is the first photo Ejercito shared since the news broke that he's the real father of Eigenmann's daughter.
Ejercito kept his silence while the actress requested privacy and respect for her daughter. (Sunnex)
