THE real estate industry has been booming in Cagayan de Oro since Johndorf Ventures Corporation entered the market. On Thursday night, December 15, the real estate developer reported the first units of their Montierra Townhouses have been sold out.
Speaking during the company’s Christmas party at N Hotel, Johndorf Ventures Corp. Cagayan de Oro branch manager Robin Cui Jr. announced that they have sold out all their first units in the Montierra Townhouses located at Upper Balulang, Uptown.
“I am happy to deliver the good news from our president, our own ‘Superman’ Richard Lim that our starter units have all been sold out,” Cui said.
The Johndorf Christmas Party had a super hero theme where all the participants came in wearing different superhero costumes like Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, and many others.
Richard Lim introduced Cui who started working for Johndorf only last August. Richard Lim was with his children, Frances Abigail, Frances Dominique and Raymund. They were also the judges during the dance contest which was won by the Wonder Women of CLM Realty.
Around 200 townhouses comprise the starter units. The units come from blocks one, two and three of the 7.5-hectare property.
Cui also added that the sale brought in P300 million to the company and earned P15 million of commissions to agents and brokers.
Aside from reporting on the healthy state of the company this year, Cui announced more good news for development next year.
He said they will come out with new models for Montierra to answer the demands of their customers and the needs of the market.
“What do our customers want? They want single detached homes. We will give them that. That is also easier to sell and that means faster selling,” he said.
For those who want to have neighbors, Johndorf will also build duplexes, triplexes, and four plexes.
“We will have every model unit for every type of customers, it is up to you to look for your costumers,” he said referring to the agents and the brokers.
Cui also announced Johndorf has finalized more projects in Mindanao, especially in Cagayan de Oro.
“The other good news is that more projects are coming in from Johndorf especially for Mindanao area, I am talking about a new City Home extension with the Pagibig Fund, so we are opening up the backside for economic and socialized housing,” he said.
He also added they are opening up their Granville project in Iligan, and in cities of General Santos and Davao.
“So with all these projects, you can go out and sell, it is up to you. Build up your network, and earn the money that is waiting for you in 2017. A lot of exciting things, as a matter of fact in the Johndorf portfolio the developments are all in Mindanao. So it is our challenge to make sure all of us here will be at the top for next year and we can do that definitely because the houses are here and the demands are here plus the commissions,” he said.
He closed his speech by thanking everyone.
“On behalf of the Lim family and the Johndorf family, to the real superheroes, the real superheroes of the night are all of us.”
The Lim family also gave out the top sellers award for this year. The Cebu based realtors, Leuterio Realty won the team award by selling P181 million worth of Montierra townhouses.
Two of their agents also earned the top two sellers awards. Bernard Tubiano sold P22 million worth of properties, while far second is Jocelyn Yagao who had a sale of P14 million. Joan dela Rosa of CLM realty was the third highest individual sellers with P12-million sale.
CLM Realty placed second in the team awards with a sale of P34 million, while Danrel Realty was third with P24 million.
