JUDY Ann Santos has committed to continuously make more acting projects but she has one major requirement.
As a wife and mother of three adorable children, the 38-year-old “Silang Mga Sisiw Sa Lansangan” actress admitted that kissing scenes are already a no-no in any of her upcoming projects.
During an interview with Marinel Cruz of Philippine Daily Inquirer, the wife of TV host and actor Ryan Agoncillo shared that she values what her children think of her, thus the limitation.
“I am married and with three kids. I value what they think of me,” she said. “I don’t want to give people any reason to tease my children, especially in social media, because of me.”
She, however, denied that it was her husband who asked her not to do kissing scenes anymore.
“It was my decision. Some people are just not used to seeing me really put my foot down about something,” she explained. “When I was younger, there were a lot of times when I felt forced to do some things by the people around me. I’ve done everything for them—now, I have to take charge.”
Juday further narrated that her priority right now is her family.
Amid this personal decision, the multi-awarded actress pointed out that “I have nothing against fellow actresses who are married but still do it. It just means that they really love their craft.”
“This is just my opinion. My children and husband are everything to me,” she continued. “I don’t want to have to explain to my kids what I do as an actress. Right now, they’re still too young to understand that this is all make-believe.”
When asked about her greatest fear as an actress, she shared that it would be about not getting the respect she deserves from the young artists.
“I see this happening to some of our veteran actors today. Artists who feel like they’re superstars treat our seniors poorly,” she noted. “This shouldn’t be the case. I don’t understand why major networks tolerate these kids’ rude behavior.”
Meanwhile, Juday is a picture of a happy wife and mom on Instagram.
Looking at her social media account, it can be observed that she has been vocal of how much she adores her spouse and their children.
In the latest image she shared among her 1.4 million followers, the “Young Superstar” is seen carrying their youngest daughter Luna.
She also shared several snaps of her US getaway with her husband just recently.
