JUDGE Silverio Mandalupe of the Davao City Municipal Trial Court in Cities Branch 3 is inhibited from the case of self-proclaimed Davao Death Squad (DDS) gunman Edgar Matobato following a resolution released second week of December.
Matobato's legal counsel lawyer Jude Sabio has filed a motion to inhibit the presiding judge of MTCC Branch 3 due to his allegedly biased decision on issuing another warrant of arrest against Matobato despite a pending motion for transfer of hearing has been filed by the counsel before the court in Quezon City.
A staff of the MTCC Branch 3, in an interview with VoxPop Davao Tuesday, December 20, said they are preparing for the transfer of court information to another court.
The results of the raffling may be known either on December 27 or 28.
Matobato's illegal possession of firearms case was filed in 2014 after he was caught by authorities carrying an unlicensed firearms in his residence.
