"IT WILL happen if it is the right time."
This was the response of Judy Ann Santos when asked about a possible reunion project with former leading man Piolo Pascual.
According to the seasoned actress, she's open to the prospect of a new series or movie with Pascual but she wants it to be well-thought-out plan.
"Wag natin i-push masyado kasi pag pinush baka lutong Macao. Sayang yung hinintay, sayang yung tandem," she said.
Pascual and Santos' love team was one of the most popular on-screen tandems of their generation.
They starred in numerous teleseryes and films such as "Kahit Isang Saglit," "Till There Was You," and "Bakit Hindi Totohanin."
The former love team last worked together in 2006 romantic comedy movie "Don't Give Up on Us" directed by Joyce Bernal.
They then went on with their individual careers, with Santos working and eventually marrying television host Ryan Agoncillo.
Pascual, on his part, starred in several movies opposite Angel Locsin, Angelica Panganiban, Toni Gonzaga and Sarah Geronimo. He recently headlined Regal Films'"Northern Lights: A Journey to Love" with Yen Santos.
Meanwhile, Judy Ann returns to television starting May via game show "Bet On Your Baby," which is now on its third season.
This will be her first show after giving birth to her youngest daughter Luna in January last year.
"I’m so excited to be working on TV again. I was gone for more than a year so it feels good to do a show again that is close to your heart. I hope one of your kids can join us in the Baby Dome," she said.
As for her supposed teleserye with Cebuano actor Richard Yap, the actress said she needs to focus on one show at a time as she also balances her family life. (VoxPop Philippines)
