Philippine Sports Association for the Differently Abled (Philspada) Davao City president James Infiesto, who was a guest in Davao Sportswriters Association (DSA) Forum on Thursday, July 20, at the Annex of SM City Davao, said the one-day event will jumpstart with a wheelaton at 5:30 a.m. to be followed by wheelchair table tennis, standing/crutches table tennis, chess for the visually impaired, chess for the orthopedically handicapped, volleyball for the hearing impaired, goal ball for visually impaired and 3-on-3 wheelchair basketball.
"Normally two days yung event nila but we made it one day na lang para hindi sila mahirapan. Kasi dati babalik pa sila sa second day para lang kumuha ng prizes nila. Ngayon ang gagawin namin after ng events will go directly to the awarding," Infiesto said,
Lunch and meals will also be served during the event.
The winners will receive cash prizes, medals and trophies even if it's a free-registration event, courtesy of SDD-CMO.
