THE Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Northern Mindanao has filed criminal charges against Lovely Adam Impal, the alleged illegal drugs supplier of self-confessed drug lord Kerwin Espinosa.
PDEA-Northern Mindanao spokesperson Ben Kalibre said Impal, together with cousin Alvin Pamlian and close associate Farina Rato, were all charged with violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act before the City Prosecutor's Office in Iligan City, Friday morning, January 20.
Kalibre said the fiscal found probable cause to elevate the case to the court.
Kalibre said all three suspects were charged with section 5 (selling) in relation to section 26 (conspiracy) while additional charge for section 11 (possession) was filed against Impal - all are non-bailable.
"Non-bailable man ang selling and ma-no bail lang ang possession kung 10 grams or more nga shabu ang nakuha," Kalibre added.
Kalibre said the suspects were detained at Iligan City jail.
The three drug suspects were arrested in drug bust in Pala-o, Iligan City, Wednesday noon after some 110 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride or "shabu" was recovered by PDEA operatives.
