THE continuation of Cebu-based businessman Richard King's murder trial is set on December 12.
Another witness is set to be presented from the prosecution headed by Prosecutor Deolito Alvarez.
The trial will resume after the court verified last November 23 the testimony of an eyewitness during an ocular inspection at the crime scene in Davao City.
Boboy Roldan, who testified that he was a Vital-C Nurse and food preparation-in-charge during the incident, identified the scene where his boss was killed last June 12, 2014.
A sketch was made based on the description of Roldan and it was adopted by both parties.
Roldan, in his testimony before the court, positively identified the gunman as Paul Dave Labang.
Based from previous report, the self-confessed gunman Labang alleged that Police Superintendent Leonardo Felonia, then chief of the Davao Police Regional Intelligence Unit, ordered him to kill King.
Aside from Felonia and Labang, brothers Rommel and Rodel Dela Cerna are also facing murder charges.
Before the ocular inspection, a hearing was set for the presentation of another witness from the prosecution but it was not pursued because Judge Emmanuel Carpio had a seminar.
Last November 14, when Roldan was done with his testimony and had satisfied the inquiry of the court and prosecutors, the second witness was supposed to be presented but it was postponed due to sudden medical concern of one of the members of the prosecution.
