VICE Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson will serve as acting governor of Negros Occidental next week as Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr. will go on a foreign trip.
He will spend a five-day vacation in Japan from September 12 to 16.
Marañon, through Executive Order No. 16-13, designated Lacson as governor to assume his duties and responsibilities for the duration of his vacation “to ensure continuous and effective delivery of basic and social services.” (MPE)
