THE Senate opened Tuesday, December 6, its investigation on the alleged anomalous purchase of P3.5 billion worth of dengue vaccines by the Department of Health (DOH) in 2015.
Last October, Senator Richard Gordon, chair of Blue Ribbon Committee, called for the investigation of DOH's school-based immunization program, which the senator said was done with "undue haste."
The dengue vaccines were administered by DOH to students in Luzon last April.
