MORE often than not, people dream to travel the world and feel the leisure of life while taking chances on all the wonderful things that it could offer.
But many do not have the money to spare, and this is where the concept of Camaro Grill comes in: a glimpse of the world while dining with friends and family.
The food-inclined owners, Imee Therese Bisnar-Ingco and her husband Jayson Ingco has been traveling around the world for years and are now sharing those experiences with their customers.
The year 2016 was particularly good to them as they finally were able to open their long dreamed-of restaurant last September 1.
According to Imee Ingco, this year has been good for them as they finally able to live up their dream of having their own restaurant which offers delicious and homey Filipino cuisines just last September 1.
Camaro not just offers grilled food as its name connotes, they also have a wide selection of famous Filipino dishes like Calderetang Kambing, Sinampalokan, Bulalo, Kilawin, Tinolang Manok, Chopsuey, Kinilaw, Lechon Paksiw, among others.
The restaurant also has function rooms. The Christmas rush is filling their place up, Imee said. Their function rooms are booked for company parties.
Its interiors are full of a variety of souvenirs from all over the world, it will keep your eyes and attention busy while waiting for your dinner companions.
The name is taken from Jayson's dream car, which he finally got after years of hard work.
“It’s a nice feeling that after working abroad and put up our own business there, we came back here and settle for good in order to help our fellow Dabawenyos in creating jobs,” Imee said.
They are committed to giving their best.
“We want them to feel the genuine hospitality of the Filipinos,” she said.
To complete all the food experience, they have live entertainment every Friday and Saturday nights.
The store opens from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and resumes from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The couple plans to open another restaurant next year, to be called Bumble Bee.
