TELEVISION personalities Solenn Heussaff, Isabelle Daza, Georgina Wilson and celebrity stylist Liz Uy are opening up their lives to the public in new reality program "IT Girls."
Airing Monday, October 24, on E! Channel, the six-part series revolves around the lives of the four women and how they balance work life, friendship and family.
"We see these girls and we think we know about them but actually there are so many layers to them than what they share online," said Raymond Gutierrez, director of the brand new series.
Gutierrez added that by doing the reality show, people would see what really happens in this close-knit group.
"What's nice about this show is you'll see them during their downtime and not fully made up and them interactive with each other," he said.
Heussaff and Daza, even though working in front of the camera, said they were a bit hesitant at first to headline this program.
"We kind of want to put a space in between on what we have in show business and what we have in our personal lives. But then, we all wanted to do this because we knew that it's going to be fun. It's working together and it's not going to be so stressful," Daza said.
"You get not only to enter our homes, but also our lives. How we give advices to each other," Heussaff added.
As for Uy, she said this is new for her but she's warming up to the camera.
"I was (hesitant) only because it's a reality (show) and I work behind the scenes. I do shoots once in a while but unlike them, I'm not in front of the camera. But this is all for experience," she said.
When asked what it takes to be an "IT Girl," the three ladies, excluding Wilson, who was in the States when the interview took place, agreed that it's about finding one's passion, having fun and sharing that experience with family and loved ones.
"Hangout with people that inspire you and you need to keep reinventing yourself, and don't try to copy someone. Find your own path," Heussaff said.
Daza added: "We don't put pressure on ourselves to be someone we are not. We are just ourselves and we are blessed that people are interested."
"We are genuine, we love what we do and we don't pretend someone we are not," Uy ended.
