(UPDATED) -- The man who attempted to jump off the 11th floor of a commercial building in Cebu City was rescued around 5:30 p.m. Monday.
The man (name withheld due to the sensitive nature of the matter) attempted to jump off the Ludo and LUYM Building, which is located on Plaridel Street, Barangay Sto. Niño.
Philippine National Police and Bureau of Fire Protection personnel responded to the area and negotiated with the man.
Vice Mayor Edgardo Labella also went to the area to check on the situation.
