CLARK FREEPORT -- The organizers of Tour of the Fireflies (TOF) aims to make Clark and Angeles City places where people can bike.
“Let us encourage more people to bike, as well as convince the local government to enact pro-bicycle ordinances and laws,” TOF said.
TOF is a night bike caravan scheduled on November 18 and will be held simultaneously in different cities all over the country. The deadline for the registration was extended until October 19.
The TOF is an annual cycling caravan which attracts cyclists from all walks of life and ages for a treat of a bike tour initially around the cities of Metro Manila.
The night ride will cover the Clark and Angeles City area.
Now, TOF is encouraging cities, towns, and province to join in the cause for Bicycle Promotion, Clean Air and Sustainable Communities and Transportation.
TOF is also promoting cycling as an environment-friendly and healthy form of transportation.
