A MAN is facing charges before the court after he was found possessing suspected drugs in a drug bust conducted by the Talomo Police Station in Davao City two weeks ago.

Charged with violation of the Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, is Gimleth Mutya, who is currently detained at the Talomo Police Station.

In a resolution, prosecutor Joy Bernales–Largo found probable cause to charge the accused based on the complaint filed by personnel of the Talomo police station.

Mutya is found in possession of two sachets of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or “shabu” and the marked money.

The substance recovered from him tested positive for illegal drugs after it was subjected to laboratory examination. (ICT)
