Man stabs co-worker after drinking spree

A 27-YEAR-OLD man landed in the hospital after he was allegedly stabbed by his fellow construction worker on Friday afternoon, in Barangay Tubod, Sibonga, Cebu.

Police identified the victim as Christopher Queso, who suffered a wound in the left thigh.

Suspect Jeffrey Benlot, 35, was caught after the incident.

Investigation showed the two were on a drinking spree on Friday, November 17. They later had an argument, which resulted in a fistfight.

Benlot, overpowered by the younger Queso, went to his bunk, returned with a knife and attacked the victim.

Queso was rushed to a hospital for treatment. (KAL/VoxPop Cebu)
