Manokan tenants told to do repairs in 20 days

TENANTS of Manokan Country in Bacolod City were given 20 days to repair their drainage systems, kitchens and comfort rooms in preparation for MassKara Festival next month.

City Administrator John Orola said yesterday all the tenants failed to pass the sanitation permit required by the City Health Office (CHO) following an inspection conducted last week.

Manokan is a row of restaurants selling grilled foods, including the popular Bacolod chicken inasal, located at the reclamation area near SM City Bacolod.

Orola said the CHO gave the tenants 20 days or until September 20 to do the repairs.

Tenants will repair their stalls based on the design provided by the City Engineers Office.

“Those who fail to comply, we will warn them,: Orola said.

On September 20, Orola and the CHO will inspect the compliance of the tenants.
