PAMPANGA courts postponed Thursday the proceedings of actor Mark Anthony Fernandez after they sought for the reinvestigation of the charges filed against him.

Fernandez was set to be arraigned before the Angeles City Municipal Trial Court Branch 1 for civil disobedience and the Angeles City Regional Trial Court Branch 60 for the violation of the Dangerous Drugs Act on Thursday but his camp reportedly filed for a motion seeking for the reinvestigation of the cases against him.

On Monday, Fernandez, son of late actor Rudy Fernandez and Alma Moreno, was arrested in Pampanga where a kilo of Marijuana was recovered from his vehicle.

The actor tested positive for Marijuana use but not from methamphetamine hydrochloride (Shabu).

He was charged of civil disturbance after he allegedly sped away and refused to be inspected in a police checkpoint in Angeles Pampanga and cases in relation to the transportation and possession of illegal drugs.

Fernandez through his legal counsel also sought for the transfer of jail from the Angele City Police Station 6 to the Pampanga Provincial Jail for it is too crowded for additional inmates. (Sunnex)
