FORMER beauty queen Maxine Medina will try her hands in acting.
The 27-year-old recently shared a photo of her on the set of her first movie project "The Haunted" produced by Octo Arts Films.
She will star opposite, Enrico Cuenca, Kapuso actor Benjamin Alves and Brazilian-Japanese model Daniel Matsunaga.
Alves, in an earlier Instagram post, said he is looking forward to working with Medina.
"I'm excited to be partnered with Maxine Medina soon on the big screen! Just please don't wear heels. Expect lots of surprises from this talented lady," he said.
After winning the Binibining Pilipinas pageant, Medina represented the country at the 2016 Miss Universe competition held last January at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
She finished in the Top 6 while Miss France Iris Mittenaere succeeded Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach. (VoxPop Philippines)
