OVER 150 joined the Memorial Run for the September 2 blast victims from McDonalds J.P. Laurel Avenue to Roxas Avenue in Davao City early Wednesday morning.
Team Titans founder and Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) consultant Dr. Ricardo Audan, in an interview with Sunstar Davao, said different groups such as Davao Ultrarunners Club, Titans Davao, Sunday Runners, Triathlon Association of Davao (Triad), Davao Striders and Somats attended the two-kilometer event.
He added that SPMC doctors and interns were also present as well as the San Pedro College Physical Therapist (PT) students.
"These doctors and nurses were on duty during the recent bombing incident," Audan said.
He added that the event is deliberately created for them to relay their expression of sympathy and
condolences for the families of the victims.
"We are also forming the same word that Davao will remain strong and the eagle is soaring high," Audan added.
Audan said that the remaining 18 casualties admitted at SPMC are in stable conditions as majority of the injured victims were discharged earlier.
"We are one with you and we condemn the barbaric act of terrorism," Audan said. Participants offered roses and also lit candles before Fr. Boy Guinte led the Mass at the blast site.
