DEAR Governor Pineda,
Herewith is an official list of Pampanga Governors, several of whom were appointed, and the rest elected.
In their time they were the leading names of history. In fact they made history in how they governed the province.
Concededly popular and outstanding leaders, they left a legacy of distinct performance in varying degrees. Each governor contributed to make a great province. Like Abou Ben, Adhem your name leads all the rest.
Most of your predecessors failed to record how their tenure made a difference by innovative practices, strong initiatives, and bold policies.
With your term reaching its end, don't you think there is a need to come up with a booklet comprising their brief biography? Truth is, the greatness of the Kapampangan spirit is but the summation of the noble and worthy endeavors of their leaders.
The Provincial Information Office is capable of undertaking this proposed public information project and for the purpose of local history as well.
