Metropolis: SM Seaside’s Sky Park

Published on

ON A trip to Wonderland together with Alice and her friends, the SM Seaside City Sky Park shares a wonderful world of Fun and Play, Water Play and Sky Play designed by the internationally renowned designer, Kenneth Cobonpue. This beautifully designed landscaped roof deck with multiple playgrounds, amphitheaters and food stalls is located on the third level of the Sky Hall Lobby at the Mountain Wing of SM Seaside.

Composed of three playgrounds occupying 1,250 square meters, this elevated area set among a landscape of verdant foliage and soothing water is a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the city life.

Dancing to a happy tune, the kids were dressed in quirky cool outfits topped with crazy hats and were entitled to win some exciting prizes on that one fine, fun and playful afternoon!

Cobonpue together with Marissa Fernan (vice president of SM Prime Holdings Inc.) led the opening of the “gate” in an Alice in Wonderland theme launch including the whole crew of the Mad Hatter, The Red Queen and The White Queen, who graced the celebration. The guests of honor were Ambra Anzani, Jack Booth and Sabi Fernan.

Bringing to life the colorful world of children’s imaginations in hopes of nurturing a child’s creative thought through the simple joys of outdoor play, the Sky Play also includes dinosaur-shaped sheds and flying saucer-like and UFO-inspired slides. This whimsical and modern design perfectly coincides with SM Seaside City’s sophisticated design by Arquitectonica.

Having such wide open space, excellent playground facilities together with lots of fun attractions, the Sky Park is now ready to accept bookings for parties and events. Truly, a destination for family and friends where you can create treasured memories together.
