DUBAI-based designer Michael Cinco is the chosen wedding couturier of celebrity doctor, Vicki Belo.
In an interview with Preview magazine, the bride-to-be revealed that it was a longtime wish of hers to wear something made by Cinco himself.
That's why when she started looking for her wedding designer, she felt it was the right time to have something done by the revered designer.
"I've always wanted a Michael Cinco dress. I've dreamt about it, but it was always too expensive for me -- I felt it was. But since my wedding is in Paris, I wanted to have a Filipino world class designer to do my dress, and that's Michael. They're really beautiful and I'm so happy with the dresses," she said.
Cinco even surprised her when he designed four gowns for her wedding in the City of Lights and Love, Paris.
"He got carried away daw with the excitement. The four dresses all look different. I will wear two or three to the wedding and one for a photo shoot."
Belo said she has seen the dresses being made by 12 of Cinco's staff and when she tried it on, it's more than what she imagined it to be.
"It's everything I imagined, hoped for, and more. I think one of the fantasies you have when you were a little girl is to be a princess. I never had this kid of dress."
Belo will exchange wedding vows with long-term partner Hayden Kho in a private wedding ceremony in Paris, France in September.
Prior to their Parisian wedding, the two already tied the knot in a civil ceremony in Manila.
Belo and Kho are also proud parents to daughter Scarlet Snow, while the former also has two grown up children, Quark and Cristalle, from her first marriage. (VoxPop Philippines)
