A 17-YEAR-OLD girl, who reportedly got fed up with her estranged parents' constant quarrel, hanged herself to death in a village in Argao, Cebu.

Police said the body of the girl was found hanging from the ceiling by her brother around 6 a.m. on Tuesday, September 12.

Investigation showed that the girl, an eleventh grader of Argao National High School, reportedly told a relative that she wanted to commit suicide because of her family problems.

Her father and mother separated in 2015. The father continued to visit his children. Last Friday, her mother told the girl to buy food, but she did not oblige.

The mother reportedly berated the girl. (KAL)
