A 15-YEAR-OLD boy and his uncle were arrested in a drug bust around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, in Barangay T. Padilla, Cebu City.
The suspects, Gerbe Padilla, 23, and the minor, are from Barangay Carreta.
The boy admitted to reporters that he sells shabu or methamphetamine hydrochloride, but he did not elaborate on the reasons that made him a drug dealer.
His uncle, Gerbe, denied he is a pusher, saying his nephew asked him to accompany him. He added that he did not know the boy’s illegal activity.
Authorities seized four sachets of white crystals believed to be shabu and cash amounting to P1,500 believed to be the suspects’ proceeds.
Pari-an Police Chief Dexter Basirgo said they received a report about a minor from Carreta who sells shabu in downtown Cebu City. A surveillance video confirmed the information. (VoxPop Cebu)
