YOU might need to save some of your Christmas bonus if you are planning to watch the Miss Universe pageant live next month.
Tourism Secretary Wanda Teo said on Monday that tickets for the much-anticipated beauty pageant will cost between P8,000 to P50,000.
"The tickets will be more or less $1000, or about P50,000 for the VIP. For the general admission, it's around $160. More or less P8,000. That’s the cheapest," she said in a press conference.
Ticket selling will start on December 20 but only about 200 VIP tickets are up for grabs as representatives of the Miss Universe will also watch the pageant live.
Teo also announced that the public can avail of the Miss Universe tour packages which will include Manila, Cebu, Davao and other provinces.
The 65th edition of the Miss Universe pageant is scheduled on January 30, 2017 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
American comedian Steve Harvey will return to host the competition. (Sunnex)
